A Beginner's Guide to Coin Collecting

     There are many reasons why you might consider collecting U.S. coins. For starters, each  coin is a piece of history and has it's own unique story to tell. Although it's not likely, it's possible your coin may have been held by a president or a famous celebrity. Some people collect coins as a solid investment during these financially uncertain times.  Still, others collect coins merely for their aesthetic value. I myself collect coins mainly for their historical significance. I have been a coin collector for about 8 years and my collection includes Indian Head Cents, Buffalo Nickels,Mercury Dimes, Franklin Half Dollars, Morgan Dollars, Peace dollars, and various other U.S. coins. I've created this website to share my experience and educate new collectors regarding this immensely rewarding hobby.
